AI Policy
At AIR we use artificial intelligence as a working tool, both in our advisory work and in our own operations. We believe AI should be used responsibly, transparently and with respect for our clients' data and confidentiality. This policy describes how we do that.
How we use AI
We use generative AI tools to, among other things, work through documents and correspondence, analyse information and prepare drafts. AI supports our people. It does not replace them. All AI-generated content that goes into our deliverables is reviewed and quality-assured by a person before it is used or shared.
Data protection and confidentiality
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data protection law.
- We use professional solutions only. AI processing of customer and personal data takes place solely through our business accounts under commercial terms, where the provider acts as a data processor and a data processing agreement is in place.
- Your data is not used to train AI models. Under the commercial terms we use, your data is not included in the training of the provider's models.
- Data minimisation. We supply only the data the task requires.
- Transfers to third countries. Where processing involves a transfer outside the EU/EEA, it takes place on a valid transfer basis, for example a recognised adequacy mechanism or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Confidential information and non-disclosure agreements
We honour the non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) we enter into. Confidential customer information is processed in AI tools in accordance with the relevant agreement, and where an agreement requires it, we obtain prior permission before any information is processed.
Human responsibility for output
AI can get things wrong. We therefore always treat AI output as a draft, and responsibility for the quality of our deliverables rests with AIR, not with the tool. Factual claims, figures and references are checked before they go into our work.
